The Day of the Dead is a Mexican tradition celebrated each year on November 2nd in Mexico and some other countries in Central America. It’s a tradition made to honor and remember the lives of the ones we’ve lost. It is believed that on that day they are allowed to visit their families.
To celebrate it, families get together and make a very colorful and full of life reunion, where they make an altar with the photo of the loved one they are celebrating, accompanied with lots of Mexican food, candies, traditional Day of the Dead orange and yellow flowers, sugar skulls and colorful decorations.
